BBC Radio 1Xtra Homegrown Residency (March)

So, this month, we take over the Homegrown Residency on BBC Radio 1Xtra in March, a feature part of DJ Target's 100% Homegrown show (every Sunday 10pm-1am).

On Sunday 4th March we dropped into 1Xtra to deliver a 20 minute mix, which was packed full of house and garage HeavyFeet exclusives! Nate James, our collaborator on 'Back Foot' was also in attendance to help us promote the new single (released March 25th). 

We'll be bringing you the mixes on a listen again feature very soon. So watch this space! This Sunday (18th) we'll be droppign a heavy electro house infused mix around midnight, so 1Xtra is the place to be. Listen online here from 11.30pm!

HeavyFeet & Nate James - Back Foot (Remix)

We're very happy to be able to unveil the 'remix' of a new collaborative single with our good friend, Mr Nate James. 'Back Foot' was conceived back in the winter, and was recorded (vocally) just before I went off to Australia on tour in April. We finished it off when I got back, and today we announce that the single will be released through Champion Records late summer, with this remix being made available on their Ibiza 2011 compilation, from July 25th. Expect some big remixes on the single package too, although we're keeping quiet about who that'll be for now!

The original of 'Back Foot' was written with pre-club Ibiza in mind, for those evenings where you'd catch a few beers at Mambo/Del Mar/Kanya etc, before heading out for a big one. This remix however, is a little more summery and main room. Enjoy.
