Andi Durrant - 48 Hours Off... (mini-site)
This is our good friend, Andi Durrant. Andi presents two monster electronic dance music shows across the Capital FM radio network in the UK. For our international readers, you could easily be fooled into thinking that the BBC, and largely Radio 1, are the driving force behind dance music over here, but not entirely. Andi's shows on Capital are extremely integral to electronic dance music here in the UK, so let's get that straight, just for the record!
Anyway, that point aside, as part of Andi's Friday night show, he has a weekly feature called '48 Hours Off From The World', the idea being that it removes the PR people, the spin and the shiny publicised image of an artist, and allows them to showcase some of their favourite music in the world. The 48 hours off... feature now has it's own mini-site, so you can re-visit any feature from any of the guests he's had on (Richie Hawtin, Dave Spoon, X-Press 2, Fenech Soler, etc) and check out their preferred choices. A great idea, if you ask me.
