Fusing tight studio production skills with heavy house, garage and bass-driven breaks, HeavyFeet have formulated one of the most effective and unique dancefloor sounds of recent times, something which has undoubtedly assisted their musical output to find its way into Serato carts and CD wallets across the world over the last four years. With international radio airplay and DJ support of HeavyFeet's music at an all time high at the end of 2011, it's no wonder this Manchester-based music producing, radio show presenting duo are in higher demand than ever before.Whilst having completed high profile remixes for the likes of Skepta, Roisin Murphy and DJ Zinc and making recent signings of their original work to Plant Music (US), Champion Records (UK) and Yes Yes Records (Australia), it's also virtually impossible to ignore their additional, extensive, project work. During 2011, HeavyFeet completed the release of their '12x12' project (twelve different genre singles, released over twelve months, each featuring a different vocalist and remixer), their BBC Introducing affiliated 'Manchester : Remixed' project (which saw HeavyFeet remix eight Manchester-based bands over one calendar month) and are now embarking on a brand new short project with BBC 2, as well as continuing their work and association with global streetwear brand, Gio Goi.HeavyFeet show no sign of slowing down, instead, showing the worldwide, online music community, and the music industry alike, that they're here for the long game. As their bass heavy sound continues its sonic tour across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S, via their energetic two-man DJ performances, it is unimaginable that HeavyFeet, an artist now firmly synonymous with all things beats, breaks and bass orientated, can be moved from their heavily imprinted, feet-shaped foundations. With 2012 having firmly arrived, expect a plethora of new original music, high grade remixes, bespoke project work and quality music videos, furthering the development of HeavyFeet as a highly recognised, bass-heavy production outfit and brand.
