Introduction...

Well here we are then, after procrastinating for months and months when it came to issues such as setting up ourselves a blog, we finally have ourselves......... a brand new blog! And very smart it's going to be too...

It may have come to you attention (or you may have not thought once about it, let alone twice) that we've been rather quiet on the communication front lately. Or, as is more likely the case, it appeared to us that we'd been quiet so we thought we should do something about it. Hence the blog. And we really are going to try and ensure this is a decent little diary of goings on, because what we really want it to be is the first stop for people on anything HeavyFeet related. So whilst endless mutterings and youtube links might be of interest to some of you, we are actually intending on using this here blog to document all the crazy new things we've been trying out since the start of 2009, as well as all the new crazy things we'll be trying out in the future that we've not yet discovered.

Over the coming days / weeks / months you can expect the following from us: free tracks and mixes, rants at the state of the music scene (either for or against), some half-arsed attempts at video blogging (after we've compiled the numerous clips from our travels), history lessons on the varying musical styles that have influenced us over the years, a brand new podcast to subscribe to (done in a real-life radio show kind of manner), and the obligatory much much more.

Also, some thanks should be nodded in the direction of the peeps at bass music blog for setting themselves up with a Posterous account and then getting us involved with that, because otherwise we would never have found such a wonderfully easy to use blogging tool. As we too are listed as contributors to the bmb, it should be noted that all the stuff we post on there is going to be 'proper'. And when we say 'proper', we mean that people might actually like to read it. The stuff we post on here, however, well it's quite possible that it could all end up being stupid videos and inane ramblings....

Oh yeah, and one last thing. This isn't going to be one of those blogs where we're posting up free tunes every 4 hours and the only thing on our minds is the most latest upfront hype shit out there, it's just going to be about what we've got to say. Well, for the time being anyway :)
